Binance is partnering with Gulf Energy Development, a local energy giant, to launch a cryptocurrency exchange in Thailand. Initially, the services will be available on an invitation-only basis for Thai residents, with a public rollout planned for early 2024. Gulf Binance, the joint venture, has received approval from the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission and a digital asset operator license from Thailand’s Ministry of Finance. The exchange aims to leverage Gulf Energy’s local presence and network to showcase the potential of blockchain technology to Thai users.
