The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has announced efforts to expedite blockchain development and innovation across 15 zones and 164 entities. The initiative aims to implement blockchain technology extensively across businesses and government organizations in China. Key areas of blockchain use include manufacturing, energy, government data sharing and services, law enforcement, taxation, healthcare, trade finance, risk control management, cross-border finance and others. The CAC has directed regulatory authorities to “promote the intensive and balanced layout of blockchain technology infrastructure”
