Additionally, the upgrade allows USDC to be managed by smart contract wallets, supporting initiatives for account abstraction. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire highlighted the successful completion of the upgrade, emphasizing the seamless process for a protocol that has handled trillions in transactions.
